"Rich Dad, Poor Dad" - Robert Kiyosaki

This is a very inspiring book, the book the rocks the financial world it opened my mind to new level of thinking when it comes to money and wealth. When I was young I often hear people say that "rich people are greedy", "we don't have money", "we cannot afford that","money is evil" and because I often hear those words, those become my belief, my reality. Well, the bible doesn't mention that "money is the root of all evil" money itself is not bad it can be a very good servant and a very dangerous master, but "the love of money" that is the root of all evil. According to Bo Sanchez "The ultimate purpose of wealth is to help others."

In this book the author Robert Kiyosaki told the story of his two fathers the rich one and the poor one. The Poor Dad is his real Dad and the Rich Dad is his bestfriend's Dad. With his two great fathers he has the choice which advice to follow.

Here are some of the excerpts that you can read in the book:

Poor Dad said, "The love of money is the root of all evil".
Rich Dad said, "The lack of money is the root of all evil."

One dad recommended, "Study hard so you can find a good company to work for."
The other recommended, "Study hard so you can find a good company to buy."

Poor Dad said, "The reason I'm not rich is because I have you kids."
Rich Dad said, "The reason I must be rich is because I have you kids."

One said, "When it comes to money play it safe, don't take risk."
The other said, "Learn to manage risk."

One believed, "Our home is our largest investments and greatest asset."
The other believed, "My house is a liability."

I like the very simple definition of Assets and Liabilities.

ASSETS - put money in your pocket.
LIABILITIES - take money out of your pocket.

Do you think your house is an Asset?
